Cam is a 224/230 cam on a 112, valvesprings are k-motion k-750s

got the throttle body off

got the intake off

only got a chance to work on it for about 2 hours yesterday

Here how it is today, only got about half an hour today

cause i had a lot of time off work last week, and its too hot to drive it right now lol. I'll have it out within a week again, so not a biggy. as long as I have it done by the 4th.

today it was 105, yesterday 102, tomorrow supposed to be 101.....

HOLY SH*T!!!!!!!! That is HOT!!!!!! I'd be happy if it was 80 here. Good luck with you swap. Be sure to get it tuned, i used Ion at Madz28, It was a good tune, only picked up10 HP on the Dyno.

 

well guys, small update, balancer and opti are off, rockers are off, lifters and pushrods are out


Just need to get the hub off and get the cam out and its getting put back together

painting intake tomorrow, should have cam out and new one in, etc.

 

Dang, cam swap in the heat, you're my hero. When you get that one done wanna tackle mine?

 

more progress, got the old one out and new one in today




got the lifters in, timing chain in, just waiting on gaskets to show up at the parts store before i get too serious with it. Also painting the intake while its off (it'll match the alt. only bracket), and getting some new valvecovers if i can find the ones I want. I want some silver oens that say "CHEVROLET" on the top of them like this

for center bolt and then I will paint the logo to match the intake
