Cam Swap part advice

I just bought a cam from a member on another site. The specs are:
236/248 .570"/.571" 105.5 LSA
I want to get the cam put in in January and was wondering what spring kit, pushrods, and rockers I should get. Post links if you have them. Also do you have to take off the heads to replace the lifters? Because I'm trying to keep the heads on so I can keep the labor down, so if you don't have to take the heads off, what lifters do you suggest also? Getting it tuned by madz28 too before someone suggests one.

The heads do not need to be removed.

i know about what pushrods, I just couldn't find which outside diameter and all the other specs besides length. and the pro mag rockers I didn't know what studs to get. I'm trying to get all my parts online since my mechanic's sources (some speedshop) are rip-offs compared to what I can get them for.

Pushrod dia is 5/16. Is this a drag car? That cam is not very streetable. Not to mention the stock heads will choke on it.

This cam on stock heads or a daily driver car is not a good Idea. If you want to use this cam I would pull the heads and have them ported by LE. Still it will not have good street manners. I would run the ls7 lifters with this cam. You will not get all the power out of this cam with your heads, if you have stock heads I would get a smaller cam. GM 847 would be the largest I would go on stock heads. But if I were you with stock heads I would run a cc503 or custom Bret Bauer.

no not drag. I know stock heads will choke it, but that's okay because I'm going to get le2 porting done in a few months. Was told it would be in between cc306 and gm847 which are the cams I was interested in.

Now about my topic. I plan on getting Pro Mag 1.6 rockers on a 3/8 stud. However, I'm on a budget and would like something a little cheaper. Are there any cheaper rockers that will handle the lift the cam gives. I don't know part number for the studs to use and I don't know which lifters to get. I've heard about the ls7 lifters changing the geometry slightly. So which size PR for the ls7 lifter?

To be sure of the pushrod length, you have to measure. There are conflicting opinions about the length with the LS7 lifters.
I would get 7/16 studs and rockers, if you are going to buy something, anyway. Don't cheap out on the rockers. They are too important.

Yes. The real benefit is the roller fulcrum-not just the roller tip. When you compare the price of the two, the full roller is a better value in what it will do for you.

Make a post in the supporting vendor forum with what you need. Someone should be able to hook you up with a complete package.

I have bought a lot of my stuff from herronperfomance in the sponsor list. His prices cut the b.s. and include shipping. Good guy to deal with.
