Ok here is what I am doing to my car:
Ported and polished heads
1.6 Roller Rockers
3000 Stall Converter
3.73 gear ratio
58mm throttle body & ported intake

I already have hooker LT's, gutted cats, 52mm TB and a ram air setup

What cam do you guys suggest I go with. I am wanting a nice mean sounding lope and some awesome power. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

 

For more streetability, a lot of people are fans of the XE 224/230. I plan on getting that, and word on the street is that the XE 224/230 responds very well to P&P Heads. Just do a search around the boards and you'll find some tried and true cams that are popular throughout.

As I always say........I love the cc306, but if I had it to do over again I'd get a custom grind. It cost a little more but it'll be worth it.

 

What is a Custom Grind Cam? 6 Speed Benefits?

 

A cam designed specifically for your engine and use (as in what do you do with it? drag? road race? daily driver? etc..). Some who do this, SStrokerAce for one, may chime in with info.
