cam with stock rockers?

Soemone was telling me that I can change my cam without changing my rockers. How big of a cam could I use? Would like to do this for a little bit of power till I get my heads and intake done and fix that leaking intake gasket and do the E-waterpump.

You can change your cam w/o doing RRs, but changing a cam is quite involved and you definitely should change springs to accommodate the cam, so why not do the rockers at the same time.

It is advised to change springs even when you just increase your lift by going to 1.6 rockers, so even a little bitty cam needs heavier springs.JMHO

Your going to have to change springs, but the stock rockers wont bind until around .600 gross lift, so you'll be fine with 99% of whats out there
