Well ill be ordering a cam soon from cmotorsports.com soon and was wondering what cam will be best for me? First off I have a 95 Z28 with full exhaust and it is a daily driver for me. Now out of Comp Cams Xtreme Energy 218/224 Cam .528"/.536" Lift or Comp Cams Xtreme Energy 224/230 Cam .536"/.544" Lift which one of this will help me pass smog but be great for power? I do plan on tuning the computer from either pcmforless.com or on a dyno jet. Will i be able to pass smog with the 224/230 with tuning or is ALOT of tuning required for it to pass smog? any information would be great.

The 224/230 is probably going to need a "special" tune only for use at the inspection station. I understan that the Comp Cams 305 will pass smog will little tuning. I have herad a few stories of people passing the NJ smog (very hard test) with the CC305 with NO tuning, but I'm not sure if thats true.
