Cam question
It's not for beginers. It's not that bad for someone with mechanical ability. The most important thing is to read, read, read, then read some more. If you prepare as much as possible before you begin you will still have problems but not as many. I'm finishing my cam install now. I swapped to an electric water pump and cloyes double timing chain. I also installed a new opti. I changed the oil pump drive shaft. I installed all new gaskets and seals. I also installed new LS7 lifters, trickflow hardened pushrods, 7/16 ARP studs, trickflow guideplates, Comp Pro mag 1.6 roller rockers, and patriot extreme springs.
If you've always worked on your cars and have the tools it's very doable.
As stated above, if you have not done work before, you should not attempt
it unless you have someone with experience to work with you.
There is a lot of great reference information available through searches.

If you change your cam from stock, dont you have to get your PCM tuned for it?? You cant just swap out the cam and slap it back together and go? Right?
PCM forless is like $200 or somthing isnt it?
