Geez.. There might be a new cam only guy coming to town.. just hopefully i can get this pig down from 3900lbs.. a buddy of mine has p/p heads and a hotcam is only trapping 112mph.. think he might just be missing some power in the tuning.. we'll find it somewhere.

SLP 2OTL Catback Exhaust
SLP Headers
Catco 3" Cat / ORP / Dynomax Bullet ORP
Comp Cams XE 218/224 111LSA
1.6 ProMag Rockers
CSI Electric Waterpump
52mm Throttle Body
3.73s + nittos + Prokit

12.846@ 111.3 1.95 60'

thats 343 SAE

My car is heavy, full weight plus sub and heavy bmr suspension and my 240lb ***. I need to get a new clutch in to improve my 60', and toy with my shiftpoints by a couple hundred rpms. I'm not expecting anything earthshattering improvements, but i know that i'll get a lil faster this spring.

I like to bracket race and to run fast I run my combo on the edge. With that said I ran the 11.40 in 60 degree air, good but not killer. I went out once in cold air and had tuning issues (false knock) and only ran 11.40's. I have since resolved that problem but I'm now ready for bracket season and have my bracket setup in the car. In cold air I know i can run 11.20's but that will have to wait till fall. Given the flow of stockheads I believe that a smaller cam is the way to go. I made 331 rwhp with my car but that was thru a 12bolt rear with a Vig3200 unlocked. Frank95z

I've always lusted after that clutch...why is it not good for 60 ft times?

It's too grabby. You need slicks to cut a good short time. It's a no-slip clutch. Nice, but hard to launch.

It will be AWESOME on slicks and a 6K dump!

Yup. But I'm not on slicks either. Not on anything right now for that fact. Still sorting out issues.

Yea, I just read your other posts...sounds like you're at your wits end. I guess hotroddin' will do that to you though. I just went through a 4 month emissions ORDEAL....Just out of curiousity, do you still run the original one-wire O2s, or have you switched to heated O2s? Not that this would cause your problem b/c you said they look ok on the scanner, just curious.

See sig for my best stock head time. I still had the stock 1.5 rocker arms on back then too.

the most important thing to look at to make an accurate comparison powerwise would be the avg. MPH (trap speed) and race weight. Also, Looking only at the best runs isnt a very accurate measuring tool and CAN be misleading

Well hopefully i'll be able to beat my bolt on best of 12.73 and my most recent accomplishment of a 12.90@108 @3933lbs The street twin is the best clutch on the market hands down.. But a 10bolt wouldn't be a happy camper on slick's.. BOOM!!!
