Cam help!?

Cam help!?
I just pull a cam out of an LT1 a friend pick up for $300.
Cam doesn't look like an of the other stock one's i have pulled out before..
The only numbers i can find are
705 15f 9040 GMPT BC These are on the end of the cam
02899 1106* These where one the shaft
I don't even know where to start looking for these numbers.. Anyone know anything i don't?

Is there a stamped # on the back of the rear journal? Searches in google for ' "GMPT-BC" cam ' turn up stock LT1 and LT4 related problems with these #'s, but nothing concrete as to their specs. I saw one site where it was said that the numbers you have are core/casting numbers, not part numbers, and that there should be a 3 digit number on the rear cam lobe around the dist gear, or on the very back of the rear journal.
