Cam help

I feel foolish asking this, but I recently purchased a CC306 cam... And then remembered that I might need springs and retainers and what not.. My heads are "suppose" to have a complete LT4 Hotcam kit with springs.. I just don't know. My question is, which springs should I purchase(if I need to) and do I have to do headwork to make them fit?

Re: Cam help

Your springs even if they are Hotcam springs are only good to .525 lift. the cc306 is way over that so you will def. need to change your springs. There are some pretty decent springs out there but my advice to you would be to get some springs that can handle a little more lift than what your cam will have. also if you have 1.6 rockers make sure you compensate for them.

Re: Cam help

K-Motion K800's will fit perfectly for that application.

Re: Cam help

i have a set of spring that would be more than enough for that cam and all you would need is the retainer and seats and locks. they are the ex618 they are just a litlle stronger than the comp 987 and theu are brand new they were instaled on the heads and never used.

im asking fifty bucks plus shipping
