cam help

hey guys i know its talked about alot but i was hopeing you could give me alittle more info that would help with what i have done to my car. i have everything in the sig and plan to keep the stock heads. i want 1.6 roller rockers and new valve springs along with the other basic stuff. what cam would you recomend that makes good power and has a nice lope? in an early post i asked about maybe a cc306 but some people thought that was to big for stock heads, but then i did a search and read about people with stock heads saying they liked it. any help would be great!

Re: cam help

The compcam XE series seem to work pretty good with stock heads. I've read people getting an average of 350hp out of the cam. I think the XE cams are pretty much pushen the stock heads as much as you'd want to push them and still get a nice lobe and performance out of it.

Compcam has also come out with the XFI series (like 2 weeks now) but i still can't find the cam info, worth looken into.

Re: cam help

Check on Thunder Racing to be sure, but i think the biggest XE cam has a 112 LSA. There is about 5 different XE cams to choose from.
