hey there guys i have a 94 a4 z28 with ca k&n cai and a flowmaster catback...i want to get header but i want to know which are the best and which i should stay away from....also if i was to buy a cam what else should i get to get better performance...and what is the bes brand of cams???and what lse would u guys rec. for me to do i want to try and get some ponys out of my car that i know that are there.....and with cam and headers what kind of numbers should i expect???thanks for the help guys
Rear gears. 3:73 are the recommended ones. A good quality stall like Yank or Vigilante would be also a good choice. Some where between a 2800 and 3200. Long tube headers are a good idea but you would not be emission legal in some states.
LT headers are what a lot of people recommend. Choosing a cam by LSA won't do any good, got to look at duration also to get the amount of overlap, then choose.
With just a cam swap, with all the parts needed like springs and some new rockers, you can see anywhere from 310rwhp to 350rwhp. Depends on the size cam and you may need some bigger injectors.
I just bought a set of Pacesetters Race Headers, CC306, 918s, pro-mag 1.6rr and 36# accel injectors. Hoping for close to 340rwhp through my A4 which should be close to 425bhp.
