Has anyone installed a cam such as the GM847 (as I have seen it called, I believe this is the cam LPE Z has) without installing headers? I like the numbers I am seeing from this cam and was wondering the "sequence" I need to do my mods. Headers are in "the plan" as well as a torque converter.

you CAN do it but you won't see the gains you should without a decent flowing exhaust to back it up. IMO CAI, headers and a good exhaust should be first.
