just wondering if i put a cam in my car (cc306 orcc305) if i would have to take my chip out while i do it. but once the cam is in , would it ruin my chip, i have a hypertech performance chip for my 93 z 28. thanks

 

The new cam won't damage your chip if that's what you're implying. The Hypertech chip is not ideal for any car with an aftermarket cam. Your best bet is to contact MadZ28.com and have them customer program you a chip.
