Cam Breakin???
I will being installing a cam this coming week. What is the typical break in period for a cam. Other than the normal 15minutes at startup. Thanks.

Other than keeping the revs up for the initial minutes to ensure good oiling, there is no real break-in period for a roller cam.

i waited 1000 miles before i gave mine a WOT run. i had regular 10w30 oil in there for the first 500 miles. and then i changed to mobile 1 syntec. and another 500 miles later i was spanking some LS1's.
