im buying a cam off my friend, the specs are 221/230 525 545 and its on a 114lsa. I dont plan on using any power adders i want to stay NA. Will this cam be fine for me? If i were to get a cc305 which is pretty close to the same specs but its a 112lsa, would the power be about the same with both cams? About how much hp dif. between the two cams if any? Also about how much hp should i see with a decent tune and on stock heads? If there is a nice hp difference between the two cams can someone explain to me why, im trying to learn more about camshafts, what exactly the numbers mean, etc.

 

this cam should be fine for you and should make in the neighbourhood of 340rwhp with stock heads and exhaust. the peak HP numbers shoudl be roughly the same but the torque and HP curves will be different.
