cam on 115 lsa + true duals

Does have a lot of lobe separation make it undesirable to have true duals? It just occured to me that the exhaust is probably way too much for this setup. I wanted to get a y pipe and connect it to my hooker aerochamber.

Anybody a hooker y pipe for sale?

Why is it undesirable to have a free flowing exhaust with a wide LSA. I've read that cams with narrow LSA require free flowing exhaust. If the daul exhaust is not beneficial it wont hurt any.

I'm thinking that maybe the combination of the wide lsa with the open exhaust is killing the low end of the car. It was just a logical conclusion because the cylinders are probably completely drained of exhaust at the beginning of the compression stroke.

Ah! That must be why stock corvettes have no torque at all...

Was that sarcasm?? Because I don't know what cam a stock vette has, maybe you'd like to contribute something useful by telling me.

Actually a wide LSA reduces torque across the rpm range, but has a flater torque curve. Having a ristrictive exhaust is never good, think about how stock motors can gain a few ponies by having a cutout, and the stock cam is ground on a 116 LSA. JMHO look into other areas to improve.
