I've been to CAM before to get my car dynoed. Only thing is, the baseline "handheld" tune there is a $250 (which is also a down payment towards a full dyno tune)... $400 for a whole dyno tune. I can get Ion's email tune for $60.

My car is has a stock motor. I kind of see it more cost effective to try Ion's tune out, and dyno it to see what I get. I really dont wnat to invest money towards a full dyno tune until I get a cam.

I see Ion is back now though, so I'll shoot him a few questions.

 

If your close to raliegh your close to charlotte. For a stock engine car I can get you a dyno tune for about $250 including 1 hour on the dyno.

Updates from then on would be $50 plus dyno time (typically $100)

theres a place in Mundelein, illinois that does chips, its called Ultimate Driver.

 

yeah I live in mundelein, and I highly reccomend anyone that lives anywhere to stay as far away from that retard factory. seriously, when you go into a place and see altezza tail lights for a Ford bronco you know theres something wrong, lol. not to mention that they've managed to f()ck up every single person I know who's been there's cars and being that i've talked to the owners kid and his friend that work there even told me that they wouldn't do have any real work done there to their own cars, and that there top mechanic is only a certified bike mechanic. I guess I could just go one but its pointless.

 

i havent had any experience with them i just know they do custom chips
