Calling anyone running a Joe O cam only please

Guys,

Still working on my motor, and trying to work bugs out. What kind of idle did you end up with after tuning (in P/N for A4 guys) and how much vacuum are you pulling at idle??? This is information that I kind of need to know before I press on, thanks!!

I'll PM you with my cam specs for my 383. Its a fairly small cam for a 383 which is what I wanted...I have an A4 and idle at 950. Could've gone lower, but I like the choppy idle. Bryan at PCMforless did the tuning on the dyno. Unknown on vacuum, but everything works fine, brakes, etc. Joe said that the cam he recommended was a good street/strip cam with lots of low/midrange...

Hey,

We have the same cam, or pretty darn close. My 383 idles at 1000-1100rpm but the target in the PCM is set to 950. Map is mid-high 50s at hot idle. Let me know if you want to see any datalogs or .bin files.

That's exactly what I needed. Unfortunately I don't think it will help too much because you're running ~30 cubes on me. But that gives me a good starting point. And an end verditc: My car is screwed (as usual). Thanks man!
