where does ur cam peak out ?!

i went on the dyno (very very dissapointing #s) partly due to 93 degree temprature outside.. partly due to my laptop taking a crap (bone stock tune) .. 17x11 wheels on the back and 12 bolt and street twin .. anyway

i amde 377 rwhp at 6800 and rising .. i let off at 6800 .. but the hp was still on a rise

if a mid sized CC306 doesnt top out even at 6800 .. whats the point of going to a bigger cam ?! u'll never see ur peak hp !!

anyway .. just wanted to know where does this cam usually peak ?! or are my heads a freak of nature that dont make any hp but keep the hp peak really high

Mine makes peak HP at 6100 or 6200 RPM and peak torque is made at like 4400RPM...That is with my stock heads, don't know what your running.

 

Dam I went to the dyno (mustang dyno! that is)yesterday and pulled 370rwhp @ 6400rpm w/an auto to boot!,(remember this is a mustang dyno).

 

Mine made 360 rwhp on a mustang dyno at 6100 rpm and 370 rwhp in open loop at 6200.

 

are u guys all running stock heads ?!?
i wonder why mine peaks out so hi yet makes so little power

what kind of torque are you guys making running the cc306 with stock heads?
