CAI or Ram Air?

CAI or Ram Air?

Well many people tend to remove the ram air to install CAI.

On a Camaro I would definitely go w/ CAI over ram air. Might be a little bit tougher decision on a Trans Am.

Well i am pretty sure most of the CAI are a little better than the ram air on the camaros,but damn that ram air looks cool when you raise the hood on those SS camaros.

I don't know about the ram air on Camaros, but on a Firebird LT1 ram air is superior to any other type of n/a induction. The air goes straight through to the TB. On one of the searches there was a dyno done with a fan that blew whatever MPH wind the car was at. They did both Ram air and Cold air with this fan setup, and there was a 13hp difference between the R/A and C/A. Again on Firebirds. The camaros is all twisted, but it's gotta be cooler air than in a fender.
