CAI and catback ?'s

i'm looking at a 95TA LT1/auto

very clean car w/ 68k miles. 100%stock.

i am thinking about getting a CAI ethier from SLP or LPE.

then ethier a catback from manga flow or edelbrock. i have an edelbrock on my 89 now and i like the sound. but manga flow sounds good too. heard it on my freinds LS1 car but have never heard it on a LT1 car. so i am leaning towards the mangaflow catback from2 reasons, edlbrock will rust very soon and the tips look like crap($290) or the manga flow w/ nice tips and it being stainless steel i like too. for ($325).

I'd say your off to the right foot with tho's choices. The SLP is my personal fav. because I think it looks the best and it can be iced at the track. The Magnaflow is the best bang for the buck IMO as far as a stainless exhaust goes.

I couple of months ago I saw some corsa's selling on ebay. I was going to get one but the guy selling it had zero feedback.

How does the Magnaflow compare to a Hooker Catback? About $30-40 difference (Hooker being the cheaper). Is it worth it?

NOTE: SLP CAI gets my vote

i love my LPE CAI and my loudmouth exhaust, it sounds awesome. But i would say only get the slp loudmouht exhaust if you staying with stcok exhaust manifolds. I plan on just leaving the car as it is until i get my vette.

I live in NY, on the island so it will rust thats why i was thinking the Magnaflow. my freind put one on his 02WS.6 cause the LM was too loud. i don't like the LM cause it doesn't sound good on LT1's IMO.

I like the way the SLP CAI looks, looks to be very funcital but the filter look like crap. so maybe i will geta pair of K+N's to go on it

can i use my trickflow elbow w/ the SLP CAI or not?
