CAGS stands for Computer Assisted Gear Selection. Under some part-throttle conditions, the computer will force a 1 to 4 shift on M6 transmissions for noise and emissions reasons. It can be quite annoying.

!CAGS means completely removing it via a resistor, or a CAGS bypass kit.
