I am thinking of buying the brackets needed to convert to C5 brakes on my LT1. I am wondering if anyone is running these with factory WS6 wheels. Do they fit? I couldn't find much searching one way or another.

They fit.

Chris 96 WS6 has factory 17" WS6 wheels and has the C5 brakes.

 

They'll fit...the Corvette's front wheels are also 17's.

 

Not ALL 17" wheels will fit though. You need to check the template. I just happen to know that person with 17" WS6 wheels and they fit so I could answer the question without worry.

 

Thanks for the info. I saw the GP going on for the conversion brackets and wanted to make sure. Bob Bishop (the guy who makes them) replied saying they fit all factory 17" wheels that cam on F-bodies. So, the WS6 rims are good.

There's a guy that I know locally that sells a similar bracket. It's also used to put C5 brakes on a LT1/LS1.
