C230 wiring?

I am having a problem with my 1997 trans am. First off it is a 97 m6 car, but I am using a 96 lt1 and a4 with a 96 a4 engine and trans harness. My main problem is my oil pressure is reading way past 80 and I can not read the SES light with a scanner; the scanner is not even coming on when it is plugged in. I am thinking the c230 plug inside the car is the problem, particularly pin g;Power feed from engine senor Fuse #10. It is not connected to anything inside the car, the c230 plug inside the car has no wire in pin g. I have no idea where I need to splice the pink wire from the engine harness into the body harness. Any one have a interior wiring diagram for a 1997 trans am; i found a bunch on the engine and trans harness but none on the interior harness.

Re: C230 wiring?

C230 pin G goes to the brake switch pin C. Comes out of the switch on pin D to C230 pin H on a Lt Blu/ Blk wire.

That circuit was not used with a manual tranny.

Re: C230 wiring?

So all it was for on the a4 car was to power the brake switch?

Re: C230 wiring?

It eventually ends up at the PCM for Brake Switch Signal. Maybe for among other things to cut off the cruise control.

Re: C230 wiring?

Thanks guys I figured it out I had a bad connector at the oil sensor and no power was getting to the orange wire where you reed the codes from. So I installed a new connector and put 12v switched power to the orange wire and I now can read my oil pressure and SES light.
