okay, i reported earlier that my regular a/c and max a/c were working exactly the same (the max a/c isnt recirculating, its blowing the same as reg. a/c). today i checked my check valve and it seems to be working fine. also does the hoses attached to the check valve (the one going to the intake, one going inside the car and the one to the vacuum canister).i pulled the switches out of the dash (out of curiosity) and the suction seems to be good coming into the selector (checked the suction line while running car). when i have the switch turned to reg. a/c or defrost (etc.), it sounds normal (no air leaking). when i turn it to max, there seems to be an air leak. so my first assumption is that the switch is bad. but later i started thinking that there is a flap that could be stuck causing it not to close and recirculate the air inside. so anyone know if this idea is practical and where i should go from here? could it be a stuck flap and if so, how would i get to it? or should i try replacing the switch and see where that gets me? thanks guys.
