yes it was the coolant only...
has far as the opti, the coolant hose that is on the passenger side is connected to another hose that drops right into the engine....i kind of knocked it loose...the clamp was crap, ened up loosing all my coolant at a gas station... would that have screwed my opti?

Are all the sensors plugged back in? Have you made sure there are no vacuume leaks in the intake tract?

You probably spilled coolant on the opti. The reason the miss went away is because the coolant dried up.

Lightbulb

Before buying a new opti, you might want to try evaporating as much water/coolant as you can with a hair dryer. If you do need a new opti, you should also invest in a new water pump, timing chain and spark plug wires.

Good luck

so since my coolant dried up, does that mean my opti is going to be fine?

st08x, your Opti should be ok, but who really knows with those pieces of junk. How old are the plug wires? If they are all dried up and cracking, the coolant could have messed those up too. Just a guess. How bad is the hesitation?
