bye bye car

well tonight the camaro was wrecked. i was heading to the school basketball game, and i took a wide turn going around 20. Hit some sand and slid into a curb and jumped it. Then clipped a light pole. It smashed the front end up good, broke both the front and rear axel. Air bags went off, ect. And guess what? I was going to do an engine swap this weekend. Now i don't know what to do. So for boring you, but i had to get it out and talk about it.

sorry bout that. But I had the v6 since this time last year. And i bought the z around Thanksgiving. I was doing the swap this weekend, and putting my insurance over to full coverage. Then this happend. But ya i was doing around 25 and was coming into a wide turn and started breaking. Hit some sand and started to slide right into the curb. THen my right rear wheel came off and had me stuck to the curb. I was heading straight for a pole and had to jerk the wheel to miss the pole, and made me clip the side of it. I'll post pics up in a few days.

You need to get to a performance driving program. One of the first rules you learn is do all your braking in a straight line, unless you are very experienced and you want to induce over steer.

Anyways, sorry about your mishap. Sounds like you have enogh parts to put the car back together, so get that done then get to a program.

yea i know what you mean. I was breaking before i even went into the turn. But i guess things happen, and they happen for a reason. I doubt i'll be fixing it up, i do have some of the parts to do it, but not all. And the price to fix the air bags is a lot. so what i might have to do is sell it all, and save up and buy another one. But this time i will buy it will the 8 already in and i'd rather get a manual. Thanks for listening.

Sometimes the lessons of life are expensive, and that sucks, but it sounds like you've learned a bunch and that is great! Good luck to you. You will come back smarter, and faster next time.
