buying an lt1, need help!

i have been looking at a 94 z28 that has 160,000 miles, but has been rebuilt less than 1000 miles ago with, "its got an lt4 performance cam kit ported heads ported eldebrock intake ported throttle body pacesetter longtube headers dual flowmaster 40 series motive 3.73 gear B&M automatic shift kit-- B&M shifter + k&n cold air intake" is it fine to get one with that many miles? or is that just too much? im getting it for 4 grand. opinions please before i buy it

receipts for the build as well as the parts would be very important to see

It has alot of miles, but with a freshly rebuilt engine, 4K is not unreasonable.

It's a good buy. If you were to buy it in Canada, the price would be crazy high for the mods that it has.

Never heard of B&K. But that doesn't mean they are bad. Does the rebuild come with a warranty? Seems like a good deal.

Camaro's up here are going from $11k to $19k for 94-97. So that is an awesome deal! The engine alone is worth that.

I agree, I haven't heard of it either, but it doesn't mean they do bad work. There are plenty of low profile engine shops that can build a good SBC/LT1 motor.
