bushings in our rear control arms

i am boxing my lower control arms and putting in new bushings. Just wondering if the old bushing is just the rubber, or is it the pressed in steel thats still in the control arm. Do i need to remove the steel sleve in the control arm or do the polyurathane bushings just slip in with no steels of thier own. Also, what bushings are suggested. Thanks again, Prorac1

You will need to press out the metal sleeve, the new bushings come with the sleeve. I recommend polygraphite bushings, PST
sells them, because they do not squeak. I have used them in a few cars and have been happy with them.
