Bulb Questions

Alright, few simple questions. First of all...what type of housings are the high, low, and foglights?

I need to know this because my friend is most likely replacing all of them with aftermarket stuff here soon...

Your question would be better off posted in the Appearance Section of the board.

What you're asking isn't the easiest road to upgrading your illumination - Do a search on 'Phillips' and you'll find msgs on how to convert your sealed beams to a higher quality light by re-using the stock headlight casing.

Aside from that, only Brent Franker's Z comes to mind when I think of people that have sucessfully done a completely different aftermarket setup.

That'll be good

However...I've never heard of H4351 housing? I mean I've heard of H1, H3, H4, etc....but H4351?

Sorry it's early...and I'm not a big buff on domestic cars and what not, I'm more an import person. Chances are I'm just retarded and missing something blatantly obvious...

They're smaller than usual, rectangular sealed beams.. [sort of low profile]
Some people do a conversion involving taking [breaking/cutting] the 'bulb' part out of the sealed beam, and replacing with a higher powered halogen bulb [using the sealed beam for the housing..]

The thing is, the headlamps are sealed beams (like the old days) not just bulbs that you replace. You have to replace the whole headlamp at ~$25 a pop. That is why it was posted that you search for info about conversion.

Ahhh I see...so I've seen some really nice-looking aftermarket foglight setups that even look close to stock...but what about headlights? Are their any LEGAL headlight conversion that are square and look like the stock setup?

Try www.eurolights.com they have a kit for camaro's 176.00 low and high beams. Also according to email they are supposed to be direct replacemnts, and won'tt overstress wireing or wire harnesses.
