building up LT4 heads w/ crane 308 kit, do I need valve seats?
I am building up a new set of LT4 heads with the crane 10308-1 kit from thunderracing and was wondering if I needed some valve spring seats??
The springs are larger than stock and I had to get the seats machined.

IMO you should always run a hardened locator to control the spring in any perf. stuff. Depending on what OD the locator that fits that particular spring is, you may or may not have to machine the seats to accept it.
