Made the #'s in sig, stock bottom end, unported intake, stock waterpump. Cam has less duration than the gm847, cc306, ect.

Time to start saving...
I can jump in my car right now and drive 6 hours across the state with no worries.

You can't beat 400RWHP, cold ac, and 23-24 MPG on the highway with 4.10's!

That's outstanding! That's exactly what I'm looking for. It's good to hear that you're confident with the drivablility of the car while making those great numbers.

400 rwhp....be looking for dependable 500 rwhp (or more) then we talk....

Seriously, 400 rwhp being dependable is pretty easy today.

The LE2 is pretty much perfect for anyone wanting to keep a stock bottom end. My car has relatively low mileage for a 96 (86,000) and didn't really need to have the bottom end redone.

I've been running my 383ci, LE heads, GTP-6 cam for over 6 years now w/out any issues. Have driven the car on many 2-3 hour drives w/out any problems. Dynoed 390rwhp/390rwtq through my 12 bolt on my n20 tune. With the hit of the button I'm at 600rwtq

The car hasn't been to the track too often but I drive it around town and to work occasionally. The torque from a 383 is amazing and soo fun to drive with a t-56. Your goal seems very similiar to my goal 6 years ago. When I had Lloyd do my heads I explained to him I wanted a mild mannered 383 setup that would last a long-time without giving me problems.

Get a GOOD clutch and save for a 12-bolt in the future.

I can let you know next week what mine makes on a stock block and drivetrain with all the mods in my sig. I'm hoping for at least 400 as well.

Awesome guys! Now, we haven't talked about the bottom end at all. RedSS, with your stroker you're running a new bottom end, but if I'm looking to keep my motor at the current displacement, what should I consider for the bottom end? I'm currently pushing 120,xxx miles on the motor, so I think a complete new bottom end would be in the works with the top end buildup, yes???
