I have a 93Z and every time i leave the light there's a little buff of blue smoke, i changed the PCV valve. I noticed that the hose going from the valve cover to the intake, its pissing a little oil out. Does ne one know where i could get a oil catch can, this is really pissing me off so help me out guys.

Valve stem seals...try that.

 

If you go WOT, are you blowing smoke?

My car blows blue smoke at start up. Or right after I let off the throttle after reving it up. But when I goto the drag strip, and race, I don't leave a trail of blue smoke. So my guess is, valve seal, or valve guide. But in your case, I would see if someone can watch you as you go WOT, to see if your blowing smoke.

Another vote for valve seals.

 

You can get an oil catch can at Summit Racing. The oil that you see coming back from the intake hose, is probably from lack of crankcase relief, and the oil maybe going through your intake, and hence emiting the blue smoke.

 

thanks guys, im going to try the catch can, then if it doesnt work im goin to get some new performance heads.
