Exactly.

Sounds like the guy is full of chit....but 12's have and can be done on stock LS1's....everything has to be just right as mentioned before.

And Grease beat me to what I had in mind.

He's from Florida (Melbourne). Here:

Go to "Cal's 8 sec car" and you'll see the 8.50sec @ 159mph street beast. He's in close cahoots with Kenny Duttweiler too.

Sorry, i've never heard of anyone losing HP with one of our throttle bodies
The 58mm is a different story though.....

That guy is full a chit.. raising your idle 200 rpm ? No, it doesn't raise it at all unless you screw it up. Thats not the point of a bigger TB, it's all about WOT cfm, cause thats where it matters Part throttle is affected and improved, mainly throttle response, but i've never heard anyone loosing HP.

Damn... I'm emailing this guy... that address is like within a minute drive of my house.

I'll see if it's the same person that supposedly P&Pd those heads... these guys seem to have their own company -- this other guy supposedly just does stuff for friends.

He told me it would "only raise idle 200rpm" because this supposedly master P&P dude doesnt install any blades... leaves stock ones. This is from a guy that offered to steal my car, take it for a joy ride, and set it on fire -- for insurance money. He also said that the additional mass of the larger blades is bad for performance... wtf... I told him "dude **** off, I don't trust a word you say."

Talking

BWahhaha !!! They don't install new blades ???? LMAO ! It would be more like a 2000 rpm raise in idle... That would make a 4 mm gap total around the throttle body.... LMAO, I would stay far away form anyone who claims to do this. IF they can port and polish heads so well, they could surely slice up some blades... Lol
Additional mass ? Hmmm, last I checked, We have the thinnest blades on the market. Mine weight in at a whopping few grams Lmao... Even if the blade was thicker, how the hell will it's weight affect the airflow...lol

There was one guy who hit 10s at a little over 120mph on a stock headed LS1 camaro. But that car was extremely gutted, had very steep gears, and a very high stall converter. Can't remember if he had a cam or not though.

Ditto on the TB comments above. I say you go call that guy out and watch him run one of those 10sec times for you.
You talking about Raughammer's Pepper? His website has a lot of interesting stuff on it. He ran a 12.86 with just free mods and tires.

Look for Patman on this board. He used to have an ls1 and I'm almost certain he did high 12's with only free mods, 4:10 gears and Drag Radials.
