Ok this puzzles me. I'm disassembling my LT1 because I'm getting ready for a rebuild, when I'm pulling the heads I find that the head on my drivers side has 3 valve spring seats broken or chipped the edges' off. Not fully broke but about a 1/4 of the seats. The pieces were just laying in the back of the head???? WTF The whole valve train only had about 3k on it and it was the cc305 and complete valve train and timing kit Thunder racing had sold a couple years ago(cc305,isky springs, crane 1.6 rr's, l98 seats, lt4 timing set etc) what would cause that? over reving? I'm pissed I spent a lot of money on all that. Broken pieces and debris in the oil could of caused the spun bearing... Does anyone have any ideas on what happened?
