Broken Radiator HELP!!
Broken Radiator HELP!!
Ok so i was installing my tranny cooler and while i was tryin to take the top cooler line out of the radiator the wrench slipped and hit the nipple on the end tank that is used for the throttle body return. my car is a few days away from completing my turbo install and this happens. i was thinking about the TB bypass but since i have no way to connect to the radiator i can't do it. my question is can i remove the hard line that runs to the throttle body and to both heads? just plug the holes with a bolt and some RTV? is that line a nessesary balance for the coolant system? if i can do that i will prolly just patch the hole with JB weld or plastic epoxy.
anyone in the KY or southern Indiana area have a used LT1 radiator laying around?
what does a radiator cost and where would a good place to go be?

That tube that runs to the back of the car is what returns the coolant from the heads to the radiator. You don't want to bypass it. What did you do, break the nipple off the radiator? If that's the case, just remove the radiator and have the nipple welded back on. It'll be good as new.
