Question broken exhaust manifolds stud

last night while taking off my y-pipe i happened to brake a stud off the driver side exhaust manifold. whats your guys opinion on the best way to get it fixed? im in high school and don't have much money so headers aren't an option. thanks for any help.

I also did the same thing. All I did was put the y-pipe back in and tightened the remaining nuts....took it to an exhaust shop and paid them $20 to replace the stud.

I did the same thing, but I broke the valve cover stud Now replacing the head might be the only option

heat up the mainfold around the stud with a torch ar something like a small butane torch and grab it with some vice grips or something that will hold onto the stud. it should come out then, that's how I got mine out.

Thats what i just had done at a muffler shop for $40...they put it all back together with a new stud but there is still an exhaust leak on my drivers side and its quite noticeable. What should i do to fix this?

take it back to the shop that did it and have them tighten it back up
