broken clutch and motor is locked...please help

out doing some data logging runs i broke something. around 6300rpm in 2nd gear (spraying) pressed in clutch and the clutch pedal fell to the floor board and stayed and the motor stalled. tried to start it but its seems the motor is locked up. the clutch had some miles on it and didnt like my bfg drag radials. btw my n2o is a wot switch so i wasnt to worried about that.

think my problem is a simple clutch r&r or do you think i have a monster ahead of me

thanks for reading

When the engine stalled did it gradually stall as you slowed down or did it just flat out have no power at all and die? You are probably ok. Unfortunately you just have to take it one step at a time. First remove the transmission from the flywheel then try to spin the flywheel. If it spins then go ahead a crank it up. If that the case. You just have to (more than likely) swap the clutch and anything you broke in the process and be on your way. Good Luck, I feel for you....

I completely understand what you are saying. Its just customary to atleast say something when someone responds to your post. Just imagine someone walking up to you and you start to talk to them. Wait until they are totally done with what they are saying and then say, "umm, yea, so anyway....."

Its all good though. I like to gather a general concensous before I just take someones word. No big deal

i think i may have had the same thing happen to me. i had just got my clutch put in at a tranny shop, and i was drivin down the road and it just all of sudden stopped, well it turned out to be the bolt that holds on the clutch fork backed out and dug into my flywheel, stopping it intantly!! the pedal went right to the floor, and it wouldntr roll over any more, either way the tranny's gotta come down.
