Is The Breather Underneath Is It Needed???

Just wondering if anyone knows if this should be removed for 1.6RR Pro mags

My bad guess i should have include(what i mean is the breather underneath the valve covers thanks)

No need for that part to come out, just the ribs at the bolt hols (the long ones) should be trimmed.

Try a "search". Someone has posted photos of the breather "baffle", showing how too pinch the sides very slightly with a pair of pliers for added clearance. The baffle helps keep oil from blowing out of the cover into the hose and the throttle body, in the event the PCV system can't handle the blowby and the flow in the PCV system reverses and blows out of the valve cover.

Crap i got a call from my mechanic saying that he removed everything but he did say he has to come up with something in place of it because it cant be left like that and ideas?

Tell him he screwed up and needs to fix it. Maybe he should get you a new valve cover and start over.

You can take a pair of lineman pliers and flatten out the side of the breather about 1 inch on the side and it will fall right in with no problem.
