break in period on new heads?

I blew a head gasket last month and finally got my heads back from the shop and on my car. The guy did a complete valve job on them and I was just wondering, is there is a "break in" period for the heads?

Yeah you need to break in the flux capacitor retainers and seats or they'll never seal up right.
