Brakes squeeking, driving me nuts

Ok I have replaced my rear brake pads with some VGX pads, and I have had my rear rotors turned. I can't figure what else it can be, just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem or know what it is???????

sounds like the front brakes are going south. they have little silencers on them that squeek when it is time to change them.

or

u may have picked up something in your caliper that is scratching on the rotor?

just ideas

Did you put some of that anti squeal crap (I forget whats it called) on the backs of the pads? Sometimes the pad vibrates when you apply the brakes and sounds like a squeal.

THe front pads are fine, I am thinking I am going to have to cover the back of the pad with that anti squeek stuff and see if that works.

Squealing is usually caused by the surfaces of the pads and rotors not be perfectly parallel. If that is the case, they will stop squealing as they wear in.
