Brake Rotors???

Sup all.... I gotta get some new rotors and was wondering what kind I should get and from where. I heard get slotted but not drilled because drilled ones crack.

thanks

Most of the replacement rotors such as powerstop are drilled and slotted.

I've got the front brakes on my 97 TA, my friend has them all the way around his 98 formula. No complaints, and they work pretty darn well.

I've got AIMCO blanks from AutoZone too, work great, $20/piece.

There are a number of differing opinions on whether drilled/slotted are worth it. However, most seem to agree that they "look" good

I've had Powerstop cross-drilled rotors on my '94 z28 for over a year w/o any problems. No cracks, no warping, just great stopping and they look good! Getting ready to change pads; going w/ Hawk units. Hope this helps!

I put on a full set of the KVR slotted rotors and pads about 2 years ago from a GP that was on. I have seen no cracks, they stop great, and look very good.

I run Powerslots and Hawk pads on my Dodge Ram and these are a vast improvement over stock.

Go to Autozone.com and check it out. Yes, the Aimco rotors are $21.99/pc. For a daily driver that will probably never see a race track or a street race, that is what I would suggest.
