Brake pedal play

Okay, I install a set of LS1 brakes with HP Pluses and stock rubber lines on an LT1 car. The first time I bled them, I screwed up and got air in the master cylinder. I then bench bled the master cylinder and re bled the car.

The thing is, the brake pedal still feels fairly soft. I can push it with little resistance until it get levels with the gas pedal, then the pedal firms up. The car stops fine, I can lock up the tires pretty well. The car stops extremely well from high speeds (120+). But the pedal just doesn't feel right. I don't think there is air in my system, so I can only think of two possible reasons why the pedal feels softer. Either the 2 piston brakes require more fluid to move 2 piston, hence softer pedal feel compare to LT1 system. Or the master cylinder is in adequate.

Can someone who has done this before share their experience? Did your pedals feel softer with the LS1 brakes?

You have to do it again, I'm pretty sure there's still air in the system. That happened to me.

Does the pedal naturally go down a bit more with the LS1 system? Is there a way to bleed the MC without bleeding anything else?

You have to bleed it completely from the hydraulic modulator rearward bleeder valve, forward bleeder valve, right rear brake, left rear brake, right front and then left front brake. Follow the sequence.
