BRAKE (!)(P) Light stuck on. Happened after new motor went in. Need advice.
I have searched and found it could be one of three things. Leak in system, air in system, or low fluid.
I have bled the system a few times, there is definitly no noticable leak as everything under the hood is very very clean and the car doesnt leak a drop on the parking lot, and the fluid level is correct.
I do need to note that the first few starts the light would go out, but then it got to the point like it is now where it wont ever go off.

i'd say if you pulled the motor out the bottom and had the brake lines unhooked you need to bleed the system some more. I had the same problem when i dropped my motor out the bottom. I bled the lines and a day or so later the light came back on. I bled them one more time and the light has been off ever since.

Shorty Header Natzi is here
I agree with Z95m6, give it a day or so, then bleed the system again. Sometimes the air gets trapped in the middle and needs to works it's way down the system. I assume the lines were unhooked for a while? probably 3-4 days maybe longer? This usually causes air to get into the middle of the system...it's just the way these systems are, they tend to suck up air....have done it a few times when replacing brake calipers....i gave it time--used the brakes some and then re-bleed the system and felt perfect again.
Does the pedal feel firm? how much travel before it starts to begin getting firm?
I will look up some of the signs for a leak(internal/external) and post, but am pretty sure it's just air.

I have bleed the system a few times, but now that I think about it I havent ever bleed the abs block. You think that could be it? Just the two bleeders on the block right, should I do it before or after the wheels, I usually start at the furthest wheel from the booster to the closest.
