Brake Light on Cluster Stuck on??

Still having this problem with the brake light on the dash on all the time. I've replaced all the brake lights and they all work properly. Does anyone know how I can fins out what's causing it to stay on?? Could it be one of those sensors behind the brakes? It's been on for around a year and it started one day when the brakes were bad and I had to slam them if that helps any.

Anyone know what I should do or replace? My car's still not put back together so I though I'd fix it now before I don't have time anymore

Thanks
Ryan

Also check where it grounds itself out in the center console. THere is a wire that connects to the red switch. I think if there was something wrong it would be permanently on or off. Mine has been off for a while even with the brake up, simply jiggling the wire makes it work so I am not worried about it. GOod luck!

What do you mean when the brakes were bad? If you have any air in the system then it will set the light off. i believe the light will go off if one side has less pressure than the other.
