Brake Light

My brake light, the one that comes on when you pull up the e-brake, stays on all the time. I tried just grounding out the sensor, but it still stays on... I don't understand it, any ideas?

You probably checked but, do ya have any bulbs out? My light wouldn't go out and it turned out to be the brake light bulb. I put a new one in and no more light.
