"brake" light on
The "BRAKE" light will also come on as the result of differential pressure in the front and rear braking circuits. The switch is located in the little block on the side of the ABS unit that the brake lines from the master cylinder attach to. Could be low fluid in one part of the dual master cylinder, air in one of the brake circuits, or a leak in one of the circuits. I know mine comes on when I use the Line Lock, because of the difference in pressure in the front and rear brakes.
Thanks for the replies - I guess I'm not sure where this switch is or what it does exactly. I had driven my car last night (the light wasn't on), then parked it. When I started it back up, the light stayed on; theres nothing I can think of that would have caused this. Also, the brakes feel fine today, nothing seems to be wrong except for the light being on.
Thanks again,
Rob
