brake bleeding question

Don,

What order do you bleed things in using the MityVac? MityVac's site recommends starting at the point closest to the master cylinder and working toward the farthest. Don't see why it should be different than the 2 person method of starting at the farthest point.

This brand hand held vacuum pump is sold is auto parts stores like Autozone, Advance, Pep Boys, CarQuest, NAPA, etc. On-Line I got one from the Eastwood company that sells auto restoration tools and products. I bought my first one back in the mid-70's. It is a valuble tool in any backyard mechanic's tool box. The set comes with hoses, adapters, instructions for multiple uses and even a container to hold the fluid.

You raise a good question. I've always started with the farthest line and worked my way to the shortest. I haven't seen their site, but I don't know why one would start with the shortest line. Anyone else have a thought on this?
