Unhappy Bouncing Off Rev Limiter

I'm at a stop light. then when i floor it, my cars bounces the rev limiter. My car never used to do this. I currently have 104, 500 miles, had the trans fluid changed in the summer along with the rear diff. fluid changed. Can u guys help me out, could the opti be goin? Can u guys give me some ideas where to start.
thanks.

Maybe I missunderstood. You floor the car and you hit the rev limiter??? Is the car missing or are you riding out the rpms to the point you bounce off the rev limiter at 5500+RPM?

Just to make sure. Did the car moved before you hit the rev limiter or it acted as if it was on Neutral gear?

I agree, your trans needs a rebuild, i noticed it at the track, while i was racing, the car would hit the rev limited before it shifted....had me wondering...then i was driving one day..(driving slow) and the car started slipping in 2nd..and got worse.....
