Well i was racing this guy in a stang today while we were merging onto the freeway. I was looking at him while passing him up then i looked left at the on comeing traffic and in 3rd gear. I didn't wanna smash into one of the cars on the freeway so i wasn't really paying attention to my rpms. All of the sudden i can feel the car and hear the car taching off the limiter. It was only like that for a sec. The thing is the car feels sort of funny but i think it is just in my mind. Do you think i could of messed something up?

 

Nope, definetely didnt. Thats why they put it in there, so you dont mess up your engine. Well, unless you let it bounce off the rev limiter for like a minute, otherwise, you are pretty safe.
